Automatically update ahosted feature layer in arcgis online

I have hosted feature layers in ArcGIS on line. These are being used in a web map. However, one of the feature layers need to be updated on a weekly basis and the updates can be extracted from a geodatabase and published to update the web map. I just want to overwrite an existing feature service. I also want to do this as a scheduled task.

Are there scripts already existing to do this? If not, how can I do it? I will appreciate any help on this.
