    Creating distance Grid?

    jathank
      Hey guys,

Does anyone know if we can create a distance grid with network analyst?
For example, if I got a polygon file with a 2 mile square mile, and I want to divide the polygon file into separate grid each contain 2,000 ft square mile.
I know we can use the fishnet tool to do this, but it is possible in network analyst? Any help would be greatly appreciate!

If your goal is to create spatial data in the form of a grid to fit in a polygon then NO, Network Analyst is not designed for that. Network Analyst allows you to creaet a network data (logical connectivity graph) on top of street/line data and perform analysis such as finding the shortest route between locations.
