It would seem that it's not possible to add a feature service (from arcgis.com) as a layer to your map if it is only shared with your organization (yes, using the beta).  I get a "Unable to connect to <service URL>" error when I attempt to add the layer.  Is it possible to somehow have authentication on the Silverlight side that passes through authentication to arcgis.com to allow access to that feature service?

I understand that you can use token for secured services if you're using the API, but I'm not seeing where this may be implemented using the Viewer.  Is this a planned feature or am I just missing it?

Hi Randy,

It's a similar scenario with the Viewer as with the API. See Adding" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://help.arcgis.com/en/webapps/silverlightviewer/help/inde... secured services and Configuring" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://help.arcgis.com/en/webapps/silverlightviewer/help... a proxy for information. Please let me know if you have additional questions on this.
