Can you change the virtual directory like you could in 10.0
I've tried changing the arcgisoutput.json file in C:\arcgisserver\config-store\serverdirs, but doesn't seem to change the output virtual directory path?
I am having a similar issue in that I have installed the Web Adapter with IIS and have changed the ArcGIS Server authentication to be the Web Tier via Windows Domain accounts.
I have then set the ArcGIS service security to be accessible to my domain account. However, when I browse to the services directory I don't see anything even though I am authenticated e.g. http://localhost/arcgis/rest/services
Can someone help me? I'm trying to install ArcMap, but I can't understand what I'm doing wrong...
Is there any website with online use? Tnx..
This is the wrong thread for ArcGIS desktop but you need to look here for details - http://help.arcgis.com/en/arcgisdesktop/10.0/install_guides/arcgis_desktop_install_guide/index.html#/Installation_overview/00870000000r000000/
I'm in a similar boat - I'm just trying to publish a service in 10.1. When I try to publish via Desktop 10.1, I get a message saying the Publishing GP Service can't be connected to and to make sure the service is running.
When I try to publish via Server Manager, it tells me Could not find resource or operation 'BasicService.MapServer' on the system. It's probably a security setting but I don't see where...?
