    Ability to order attachments

      Folks,

For the next round of Forum improvements - it would be helpful if the Manage Attachments tool were better able to control the order that attachments appear in the thread postings.

The Image button is OK, but it puts the uploaded image, or URL linked image, positioned in line with text--which then can't be adjusted. And the inserted image thumbnails can end up so large they are distracting to the thread content.

So the Attachments dialog remains my preferred way to include screen captures, and examples with references from the posting body. Unfortunately it is a PITA to adjust the order the Attached files are shown in, or to insert an example image later in editing. As it is, if you need to adjust, you have to remove them all and add them back in in the correct order. Even then it sometimes gets out of intended sequence.

Seems the Manage Attachments tool could be modified to include an ordering capability.

      Worth doing? Comments...

Interesting idea.  The workflow pretty much expects that you put it all in right the first time.  There's little flexibility for "composing", just "entering".
