Need your help in figuring out following:
How can I modify the address locator to return addresses when I partially enter the steet name. first few characters of the street name
e.g Correct address is: 5001 Karachi street, west bloomfield, MI.
I need the address locator to return this address when I misspell the street name as:

5001 Kar*, west bloomfield, mi
5001 kar%, west bloomfiled, mi

Thanks
Sunil

I'm pretty sure Anthony is right.  However, you might be able to turn your spelling sensitivity down so your misspellings will constitute a match.  There's always a price to pay so use with moderation.....

Hope this helps-
That should just about do it....

Any other idea to achieve this?

Hello

There is a trick (unsupported) you can pull in the spelling elements, see in the attached style.

You may have to enter more than one asterisk at run time if the characters you are wildcarding create a big spelling distance against the reference data.

Proper wildcard support is planned for a future release.

Thanks Bruce and Matt

Very good suggestions.
As far as possible, we don't want to modify locator files which comes with ESRI's Street Map Premium custom products.
I will try your suggestion in my locators.

Thanks
