I am using a Label Layer to label a feature service. But it requires a new renderer to overwrite the default renderer defined by the feature service. The problem comes when I also have a legend, which is also updated by the new renderer.
And I have a default unique value renderer, and in map service, the categary names are specified text. But when you define a unique renderer in code, only real values can be used. So it shows in legend as 0, 1, 2, and also I couldn't turn off the "all other values" category.
Another problem is if I print the map, only labels are displayed and the renderer markers disappear!
Does anyone have a solution?
I really hope in the future renderer can be only an option not a require in Label Layer.
