Yes - we are fixing this. Applies to large areas where values exceed 999M at the moment as the variable length in our definition is too short.

Hi Cedric This is a data type overflow bug, that occurs because the data is in the billions and exceeded the original range. We caught this in most other datasets and will fix this for businesses. Best wishes H

HI Ariel et al I know there is a fix but also using annotation text in a chart is an option I often use. Simply add text using the Annotation panel in Chart Options. And configure the new text as desired. You can use most of the styling options, including fill and fonts. I also did a rotation and updated the right margin to show this example in stack mode of using the header as a marginal banner. I use this a lot, especially for legends as I can use special characters, multiple fonts sizes and control exactly where the legend is placed within the margins.

Hi Susana While not ideal the best way to do this is to download the templates that the user created, and then upload them into the new users area. The BRPT files are portable and self contained. They have metadata inside which references the user, data vintage, data sources and other attributes like custom variable formula and links to any source data and services. The system uses these parameters to help migrate infographic between vintage and data changes. This is automatic and allows you to move between years or even countries. Unfortunately it makes it harder to just move them between users. Another option is to share them, then login and use the new user to edit them. This will place a copy in the new users folder. I hope this helps H

Hi @JGriff I recently wrote an article https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/bus-analyst/data-management/best-practices-for-using-frequently-changing-geographies-in-business-analyst-custom-data/ that might help. Can you describe your issues in more detail. Thanks Helen

We use a number of techniques to build data starting with the smallest unit area - the block in the US. We aggregate and apportion up and across different geographies from there. You can find documentation on the process here: https://developers.arcgis.com/rest/geoenrichment/api-reference/data-apportionment.htm For the whole world we have a set of summary tables https://support.esri.com/en/download/7776 and for each country we have detailed descriptions of how we apportion by scale/distance e.g Canada: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/esri-demographics/latest/regional-data/canada.htm I hope this helps Best wishes Helen

Hi @SilverstonePartners There is an API for Business Analyst which is part of the broader developer tools. Data fro Business Analyst Web is hosted in ArcGIS Online and Living Atlas, and is accessible via data collections. This is an example of how to discover those collections for any of the 170+ counties worldwide using the geoenrichment engine: https://developers.arcgis.com/documentation/mapping-apis-and-services/demographics/ If you don't want to use the API you can use geoenrichment or the analysis tools in Map Viewer Classic to snip out your data. Hope this helps Helen

Hi There is no way currently to do batch queries of multiple NAICS or SIC categories. Data licensing requirements also mean that the data that you produce is specific to use in Business Analyst/ArcGIS within the Esri products. We are aware of needs to access POIs in other ways and capabilities within ArcGIS. Sorry there's no current solution to do this. Helen

Hi Data from ACS - the language variables you are using - has a margin of error associated with it. Any data where there are MOEs, is not available for custom variables because we have concerns about combining them into a single variable.

Hi Lorrainne I would recommend watching this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xeIf01CXCkQ&list=PLGZUzt4E4O2KQIgWq0fiJdEenmNgvYzOe and then follow some of the links in the channel which show different workflows. Hi Blake There is no simple way to do this within the BA Web interface but it can be inherited from ArcGIS Online. For Pro you can use any of the symbology rules and it will be picked up. Publishing to Online will allow the feature service to be picked up. Hope this helps Helen

Hi Benjamin DMM data was not a broadly and flexibly embedded in ArcGIS and Business Analyst functionality as SafeGraph or Data Axle data is. As we reviewed usage and availability, we made the decision to discontinue DMM as we expand POIs availability world-wide and aim to need existing, new and emerging needs of our community. Both Data Axle and SafeGraph are updated quarterly and we are reviewing the opportunity to do monthly updates. These datasets are available for every user to save as a layer, add to custom maps, reports, infographics and analysis (void/suitability analysis) and share with ArcGIS Online. This provides a lot of flexibility that was not easily accessible with DMM. We know that this change impacts our users and know that we are working to continue to: Expand POI availability globally - we added POIs to Thailand in 2021 and will add new POIs in multiple countries in the first half of 2022 Expand the attributes available for key POI datasets Provide consistent category schemas and flexibility in switching between POI providers to support repeatable queries and search Add new providers and/or sources Expand access through analytics like void and suitability analysis (competitive layers) and the new threshold drive time Support tighter integration and customization of POIs in Nearby Infographics and other report templates Provide better sharing, dynamic visualization and export capabilities If there are specific areas that we can help with in providing a quick map capability or other solution for your need please reach out. Thanks Helen - BA Product Engineering Lead

Hi ArockiyaM There is a well defined work around for this which is to think of infographics as chapters in a book. Rather than create a big 10+ page infographic I create smaller 2-3 page chapters. With this approach you can then use the ability to run multiple infographics and output as a zipped file. So typically I would have a sequence like this: Title Page, Section 1, Section 2, Section ..., Close/Credits Add your infographics in that order and run them on a single site using patch export. You can then package them up in any PDF reader/writer if needed. The advantage of this is that it makes managing and maintaining sections and topics so much easier, especially when changing thematic styles and custom data updates. Cheers H
