Kory, The two methods that you described will work for me. I appologize as I did not notice them when I first created this idea. Thank You!

In ArcGIS Pro we can add a toolbox to the project. However, the properties of the project toolboxes do not display the source location of the toolbox. Please add "Source" to the properties of an ArcGIS Pro toolbox. Thank You!

Currently ArcGIS Pro allows us to add as many favorites as we want in the catalog view. However there is no mechanism to organize the favorites which makes using favorites cumbersome to work with. I think that ESRI should consider organizing favorites in a way that is similar to how web browsers allow users to organize bookmarks. For example: Allow users to right click on a favorite to view the source of a favorite. This is especially important various web services, or when working on multiple projects that have similar names. Example: How would I know if "Data" refers to D:\CountyA\Data or D:\CountyB\Data Allow users to flip between the friendly name of a favorite to the source of a favorite. Allow Favorites to be grouped in virtual sub folders. This will be useful to organize data by geographic area and or the type of data such as air photos* Thanks!

With ArcGIS Pro 2.8 we now have the option to add data from my computer. However the option to add data from favorites is now missing. In addition I think it will be useful if "My Computer" is available in the catalog view. these changes will make the add data and catalog view more consistent with each other. Options for add data dialog Project Portal Computer Favorites (which was in 2.7, note this favorites should be based on the favorites in the catalog view, which is different than the favorites in Portal) Options for working with the Catalog View. Project Portal Computer (This was added to the add dialog box, but not the Catalog View) Favorites Thanks!

Hello, I have a table frame that I added to my layout. I noticed that when there are too many records in the underlying data that ArcGIS Pro will display an ellipsis (...). Is there a way to remove the ellipsis without changing the number of records on the underlying data table? Notes: I just want to display the records that fit in the table frame as opposed to all of the records or only those that are visible. I am okay with the ellipsis displayed as I am authoring the map. However, I would like to remove it from any printed or exported product. Thanks!

I would like to use a custom basemap by default for all of my ArcGIS Pro projects for myself and others in my organization. Thus far the only documentation I found is either for AGOL basemaps or how to export a custom basemap as a .mapx file and manually load it into every ArcGIS project. Ideally I would like to do the following 1) Create a custom basemap in ArcGIS Pro which references a non AGOL / Portal dataset. I can already do this step. 2) Have the basemap turned on by default for every new ArcGIS Pro project. 3) Reorder the basemap gallery so that it appears before the built in ESRI basemaps. Once again this will be for every project, not just the current project. This would save a few more steps than telling people to start a project, load the mapx file, go back to the map, and change the basemap which happens to be located at the bottom of the basemap list. Thanks!

@KoryKramer I apologize about the confusion. Regarding the idea I meant to summarize the idea by saying that it was difficult to figure modify layers that appear in a legend. I am going to restate my idea to "Modify legend items (layers) in the legend properties pane." this would be a nice safety net for those coming from ArcMap. I think this could be done by either adding a button on the pane that allows us to adjust which layers are visible in the legend, which was similar to ArcMap, or perhaps you could add a question mark that brings up a help topic explaining exactly what you showed me in the previous reply. Figure 1. Adjusting Layers within the Legend Items dialog in ArcMap. Figure 2. The ArcGIS Pro dialog has everything except the ability to modify current layers. PS Thanks for showing me how to work with the legends using the contents pane vs the legend properties pane!

Hi I just wanted to mention a couple usability items that I found when trying to add a legend in ArcGIS Pro. In ArcGIS Pro I did not see anything in my legend after I added one under Insert-->Map Surrounds-->Legend. The only thing I noticed is an ellipse... At this point I thought the issue is that I need to add layers to my legend in the legend properties pane. I was able to find everything on formatting the legend, changing colors, synchronizing new layers, etc. I did not see anything under "Legend Items" which is the first item that is presented to us in ArcMap. Anyways here are just a couple thoughts: The feedback to users could be more informative when new legends are too small. Perhaps clicking on the ellipse could display a pop up message stating "The legend frame is too small to fit all of the items" In order to adjust the items on the legend I was looking in the wrong spot. I thought it would be located under "Legend Items" in the format legend pane. Perhaps adding a "Change Layers" button could pull up the items in the the contents. This could possibly help new users find the legend items. I noticed that I can create a legend with 3 out of the 5 layers but I was not clear how to go back and add the 4th and 5th layer. When creating a new legend with only a few layers selected all of the layers should be added to the legend in the table of contents... The only difference is that layer 4 and 5 will be turned off. I noticed we can turn off synchronize the layer order with the map however I am not sure how to change the order of items on a legend. Thanks!

Amir, Interesting. I had thought that the attribute rules were only for attributes and not geometry. Would you be willing to put together a quick example showing how we can validate geometry? Thanks!

Currently ArcGIS Pro allows us to view which domains are being used in a Geodatabase (which is great). It would be further useful to report which domain codes are being used so that we can remove any code entries that are no longer in use. In the example below it may be useful to indicate that I am not using "de las" at all so I can remove that code from the domain and "to" 432 times so I can push that to the top of my domain so it appears first on the pick list

Hello, I don't think ArcGIS Pro allows you to edit the symbology of vector tiles yet, I know you can do this in ArcGIS Online, however I recommend creating the symbology in Pro before you create vector tiles. Perhaps pro will allow us to edit the vector tile symbology in the future? , which I think is possible. think that it possible, but at this time ArcGIS Pro cannot itself edit the style of any vector tiles. Unless I am mistaken ArcGIS Pro will allow you to load Vector tiles with the vector tiles default style and labels. However it appears that you cannot edit that style in ArcGIS Pro at this time. Therefore the
