Heather, From Keyboards, it looks like I am using "English (United States)" and Emoji is the other available option. It says I have 2 keyboards. I have the "One Handed Keyboard" turned Off. All other options are turned on including the Enable Dictation. I do have 6 definitions in the "Text Replacement".

One more comment. I do some of our training for our field users and I like to encourage the use of voice recognition for the people who do not like to type or type on the small phone keyboards like me. It seems to me in the screenshot I provided, that the voice recording graph seems to minimize and freeze up. Might just be a coincidence because I have stopped speaking. Please let me know if you recognize this a bug and report it to the proper channels. Thanks again

We, 36 of us, are using iPhone 6S Plus. iOS is the latest 11.2.6. But I have noticed the issue ever since the changes last summer, 2016 with the iOS and Explorer for ArcGIS. I am attaching where it locks up, which is right after you choose one of the selections below. I can get this to lock up on any address in the Phoenix AZ metropolitan area. In this example I spoke 2133 west emelita ave clicked the first, highlighted, option, and it lock up every time. You can try 123 oak st for ease of testing and pick either the Chandler or Gilbert AZ options and Explore for ArcGIS locks up on me every single time. I went to one of our other departments who are using iPhone 6 or 6S and was able to replicate the issue. I got a model number of MN1M2LL/A off his phone in hopes that that would tell you if it is a 6 or a 6S. Thanks

My iPhone locks up every time I try a voice recognition search of and address or intersection on Explorer for ArcGIS. Is this a known or reported issue? If no how do I report?

The Search, magnifying glass, when searching for addresses, shows address outside of our state which is outside of our service territory. Can ESRI add a way to allow developers a way to limit the search by territory boundary polygon, state/s or something else. City would not work for us since we cover multiple Cities.

On the latest Explorer for ArcGIS version, 17.1.1, the control of turning layers on/off is now much more difficult if the users want to turn off the entire Group Layer (headings). ESRI should allow the developers a way to show all layers or collapse as a default option for the App. User should be able to turn on/off by the heading only layer toggle, instead of having to scroll through many layers to turn on/off an entire group of layers. This functionality might be great for some users being able to control each individual layers, but it seems to very cumbersome for our field users. This worked better for our users in version 17.1.0 and the previous version we were using.

Create a way to remove all pins in one function. The idea here is to use the "Explorer for ArcGIS" for routing of anywhere to 10 to 30 locations a day that our field personnel need to visit. Currently the only why we have found to delete pins/bookmarks is one at a time. This makes the idea of using the App for routing pretty cumbersome on the next day when the field user would have another 10 to 30 sites to visit. It would be really really great to assign a priority to the locations as well. We have a requirement to have some of the work done today and some the next. I believe ESRI would also want to separate the routes from the bookmarks somehow so the user is only deleting the routing data and not save bookmarks and maybe the pins that might want to be kept. Maybe a temporary routing set of pins or bookmarks that can be controlled by the individual user.

I was thinking about submitting and idea to track URL usage statistics for Explorer for ArcGIS. Is there already a way or software to do this? Here is what I have in mind. Now that we implemented the Explorer for ArcGIS to about 35 people, we would like to know who is using the APP in an easier way to decipher than what we are receiving. It is difficult and time consuming to weed through the data. I would also like to know things like how long each users leaves the App open or how long they are actually using the app throughout the day/week/month. Most likely other information like data or battery usage could be useful to spot patterns across the user. I am looking for something that would help us find employees who may need additional help to use the product to its full potential. I tried searching the ESRI site, but too many hits for usage statistics, URL usage, or other verbiage I tried. If you could point me in the right direction that would be great.

1. Industry is a mainly an electrical utility but also have water (control Dams and Canal systems) in addition we have some communications that we market our excess Fiber networks. 2, Users workflow and use case; would be that the user would most likely want to measure a path from point a to b to c etc... until ending the path. 3. Problem is that user can only obtain total distance versus last segment as they click from point a to b to c etc... 4. Benefit: Design and Maintenance type personnel would use this information for length of conductors needed during design or during maintenance of a particular facility. Users could record each separate segment while walking off distances in the field or based off of something like the aerial photos, satellite images, to use for their designer or replacement of conductor, pipe or whatever in a maintenance situation. Currently the user of Explorer for ArcGIS can only get the total distance. Measurements are not always point a to be. Measurements in many cases should be straight line, perpendicular x number of feet, then another turn in the line work or path etc... etc... to some endpoint. 5. Criticality to our organization is what I would call low, but it just makes sense to add. 6. Benefit to the phone/tablet users would be able to carry out design or Maintenance calculations for ordering Conduit to be installed, or conductor or pipe to be replaced.

We would like the Measure in Explorer for ArcGIS functionality to closely mimic the ArcEngine widget results and possibly the behavior. User should be able to click or tap from point A to point B and get a distance. Then continue, by click/or touching the phone screen again, for point C to see the last segments measurement along with the total distance. Then click/tap again and continue clicking/tapping until the user is done measuring with a double tab or something to end the line. I would like to see the line stay on the screen until the user wants to get rid of it.

Agree. We have cases where we have multiple layers or number of runs in a single trench (route) that would be beneficial to see the one or more than one you select highlighted on the map so you can verify that you are looking at the correct layers feature (identify) data.

Our field users of Explorer for ArcGIS would like voice turn by turn directions from a single application after they do a search by address or some other landmark based off their ticket from the ticket management system we use. Our users go to about 30 sites a day. We are looking for productivity tools/enhancements.

I believe we have ran into an issue where being able to create and turn off a basemap might work for our situation. We have two issues we are trying to solve 1. The scale or being able to zoom to the edge extents of the map (Basemap) was not allowing us to get to the farthest outlying areas of our map. Part of it was caused when we needed the ability to zoom really tight for one type of our underground facilities. These sites are usually not greater than 300 feet wide with a lot of conduit mapped in this small area. 2. We are thinking about creating a blank or white layer which covers our entire service area to include the outlying communities. This will also allow the end field users to view our electric schematic layer without the basemap graphics getting in the way.
