Hello, I installed ArcGIS server and authorized it as advanced. I changed this to a standard authorization. I tried using the standard authorization code on our account but I am not certain it was accepted. I also noticed the advanced server authorization count did not change. The standard authorization code count was reduced though. How do I deauthorize the advanced license? I see how to do it for desktop software but cannot find the server deauthorization.

I noticed that. However, is something supposed to be listed? I am also not sure what URL to use.

Hello, I am attempting to solve a route. My code is below. To create my service, I added the following URL to my ArcGIS Online content. I then made it accessible to everyone and used the REST URL in my code. //prepare parameters
var myRouteParams = new RouteParameters();
myRouteParams.stops = new FeatureSet();
myRouteParams.stops.features.push(myStartingGraphic);
myRouteParams.stops.features.push(myEndingGraphic);
myRouteParams.returnRoutes = true;
myRouteParams.returnDirections = true;
myRouteParams.outSpatialReference = new SpatialReference({ wkid:4326 });
//perform route between addresses
var myRouteTask = new RouteTask("url_goes_here");
myRouteTask.solve(myRouteParams); However, I get the following error in the debugger. dojo.io.script error Error: 9004$LAYER_NOT_EXIST "dojo.io.script error" [object Error]{code: 500, description: "", details: Array[0], httpCode: 500, log: undefined, message: "9004$LAYER_...", name: "Error", number: 0} What is causing this error? Do I need something else in my routing parameters?

Hello, I am attempting to solve a RouteTask but I am receiving an error, which I cannot solve. //create new feature set var myFeatures = []; myFeatures.push(myAddressEventFeature); myFeatures.push(myQueryResultsEvent.featureSet.features[0]); //prepare parameters var myRouteParams = new RouteParameters(); myRouteParams.stops = myFeatures; myRouteParams.returnRoutes = true; myRouteParams.returnDirections = true; myRouteParams.outSpatialReference = new SpatialReference({ wkid:4326 }); //perform route between addresses var myRouteTask = new RouteTask("url_goes_here"); myRouteTask.solve(myRouteParams); //begin route task event handler myRouteTask.on("solve-complete", function(myRouteTaskEvent) { //get route result var myRouteResult = myRouteTaskEvent.routeResults; myMap.graphics.add(myRouteResult.route); }); //end route task event handler I am getting the following errors. SEC7120: Origin http://www.myserver.com not found in Access-Control-Allow-Origin header. SCRIPT7002: XMLHttpRequest: Network Error 0x80070005, Access is denied. According to https://community.esri.com/thread/53724#post208466, I can ignore the first error. However, I don't know about the second. I am not receiving a result and the "solve complete " event is not being fired. What am I doing wrong?

Hello, I have a Search object and event with the following code var myEntryX = myEntryGeometry.x; var myEntryY = myEntryGeometry.y; '<!>Your coords are \n' + myEntryX + ', ' + myEntryY + ', ' + myEntryGeometry.spatialReference.wkid); This yields <!>Your coords are I noticed my spatial reference for this data is 102100, which is WGS 1984. However, this data is being returned with coordinates in meters. I have data available in 4326, which is WGS 1984 in decimal degrees. This is also the reference for my layers and map. Can I get the search object results in 4326, which has the xy coordinates in decimal degrees? Thanks in advance!

Robert, thank you again. However, your code issues an error in javascript. My code is below. //begin event handler
mySearch.on("search-results", function(e)
{
console.info(e.result.feature);
}); //end call process results function); //end event handler
TypeError: Unable to get property 'feature' of undefined or null reference TypeError: Unable to get property 'feature' of undefined or null reference The following code will produce a result but not very useful.
console.info(e.results[0].toString()); [object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object] I can't seem to access the event object in the seach results to get the results. https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/jsapi/search-amd.html#searchresults

Kelly, thanks for the help. Is the CreateDriveTimePolygons geoprocessing service in the example something public that ESRI provides or is it something I would have to create? var gp = new Geoprocessor("url_goes_here");

Robert, thanks for your help. I am having difficulty with determining what classes to use and getting the results from the event. I am trying to use a search object and get the data from the search results. I would then perform an intersection on the polygon layer and get the address. I am trying to use a each object with no luck. Am I using the right classes and how do I get the results from the event? var mySearch = new Search( { map: myMap }, "searchDiv"); mySearch.startup(); //begin event handler mySearch.on("search-results", function(e) { alert(e.results[0].toString()); }); //end call process results function); //end event handler

Hello, I am attempting to work with the Javscript API do the following. Enter an address (address 1), intersect a polygon, get an address (address 2) from that polygon and route a line between the resulting points. I am trying to find the proper functionality in the API to support this processing. I found the routing support in the sample on the directions app at Directions | ArcGIS API for JavaScript. There is also an example for point in polygon search at Geoprocessing - Point in polygon search | ArcGIS API for JavaScript . Is there an basic example of this functionality available? Does anyone have any example of reading attributes from a selected feature? Thanks for your time!

Hello, When I upload a shapefile to overwrite a feature service or recreate a tile service in ArcGIS Online I noticed the data has not always changed. I usually add a number to the new service such as road_v2. However, it would be beneficial to overwrite the data. I noticed when opened in a map the old data still seems to appear. Is there something I am doing wrong? Thank you for your time!

I want this to run independently of ArcMap. Hence, the snippet will only work in ArcMap. I am only try to find how to connect to the SDE connection with code from the Python command prompt. I have to open ArcMap to connect to the SDE each time.
