Actually my problem was not solved yet. I just did a workaround by exporting the data to a shape-file and imported the shape in AutoCAD Civil 3D, where I create the Annotation then. Still I would prefer the other way by just exporting the Annotation to dwg because I could create a script in ArcGIS and I don't have the create the Annotation in Civil 3D every time.

Thank you for your answer, I know the basics for the CAD-Export already. I'm pretty sure it should work with the field "alignment" (created with the "Add CAD-Fields" command), but after the export of the annotation with multiple lines, the alignment is set to "upper left". Unfortunately I can't just edit it to "bottom center", cause the insert point is another. Thank you, I've shifted the question to CAD/GIS Data Integration.

I did not found a solution to this, so I've exported a shape file, which I've imported in AutoCAD Civil 3D then and created the annotations in AutoCAD. Unfortunatelly the result was not that good and I had to shift some annotations.

Hi there! I have an issue with exporting the annotation of polyline features to dwg. Basically the export works, but the problem is, that the annotation does have carriage returns and so the annotation in the dwg-file now is MTEXT and not (as usual) TEXT. In the attribute table of the annotation the alignment is "bottom center" which would be fine, but after the export to CAD the alignment is "upper left" which relocates the label. Its not possible to just edit this in AutoCAD to "bottom center" (as it should be) because in this case only the insert point moves. I have attached an image which shows the label in ArcGIS (blue) and the exported label (red). Thanks for any upcoming help

Hey there! Is it possible to import the owner of properties into arcgis? I know that this function is supported in other GIS systems (like rmDATA). The information is contained in .txt files which are given in addition to the .dxf files of the digital katastre. I've attached examples of this files. Does anyone have experience with this?

Thanks for the fast answer! Today I have successfully done what I've tried to do. I've done it with the "select extract" tool (and some other tools for creating/deleting fields and stuff) and the merge tool in model builder. Helped me a lot, this was the function I was searching for, but I couldn't find it before. Thanks to you!

Hey there! I have a problem which i cannot solve on my own. I have many polyline features in my feature class. Every feature has columns for (relative) paths (-> I have attachted a screenshot for better explanation). Now I want to create a feature for every single link with the same geometry, e.g. a feature has 6 links -> the script (or function, or whatever) should create 6 features which have the same geometry (and every feature should provide 1 link) in another feature class. The reason for this is, that I have some water pipes and arcgis can just support one field for the hyperlink tool, so if i have 6 features overlapping each other, a window will appear and shows me all 6 links and not just 1. The user will not see the 6 features. I hope it is clear what I try to do 🙂 Thanks!

should it not be something like: for row in cursor: if not vertexElevation > 0: vertexElevation = something with interpolate z-values of the next 10 neighbours or all points in the area of 10 metres (thats the question) without an else i would say because i want the rows with values to stay the same, but only the <null> values to be interpolated. any further ideas? thank you, for you informations so long

The script now works (running for a while), but don't update any z-values... <null> values are still in the row. This script will set the <null> values only to "0" right? Or does it interpolate the other values? I dont want to update the given z-values (because they were taken by a survey) but only the <null> values to be interpolated.

You're probably right that this is not a good idea, but the (same) error is still there 😞 used code now: import arcpy

...
... arcpy.Copy_management(shp, shp_copy)
...
... with arcpy.da.SearchCursor(shp_copy, ["GelaendeH"]) as cursor:
... for row in cursor:
... vertexElevation = row[0]
... arcpy.MakeFeatureLayer_management(shp, "pts_lyr", "Elevation = " + str(vertexElevation))
