There is only one Extensibility setup because it installs the .NET assemblies in the 32 bit Program Files folder. The assemblies are integrated into Visual Studio, Expression Blend or Web Developer Express which are 32 bit programs. The assemblies themselves are built with configuration �??AnyCPU�?�, which means they run 32 bit on a 32 bit Operating System and 64 bit on a 64 bit Operating System.

Try downloading the SDK setup again. The error seems to indicate that the file is corrupt because you received Windows error message "this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running". The setup never seems to have run and there is not a check in the setup for the Operating System.

Is you Web site running? Does the Builder web application show as started and listed in IIS? Does any part of the Builder web application display? Does the page display if you type url http://<computer name>/Builder/default.aspx in your browser? Is there any more details you can provide? Try setting the permission on the Builder web application. To uninstall the software, because system cleanup has removed the existing msi or the file is missing, then do these steps. 1. Run the original beta2 setup and when the dialog is displayed copy the setup.msi file from the temporary folder. The temporary folder can be displayed by typing %TEMP% in the Start -> Run command or My Computer address bar. (Temporary Folder: C:\Documents and Setting\<Login Username>\Local Setttings\Temp) 2. Copy the setup.msi file from Temporary folder sub-folder {D3DC8552-2579-45C0-BD02-A0C1C64B1181} to your My Documents folder: %TEMP%\{D3DC8552-2579-45C0-BD02-A0C1C64B1181}\Setup.msi 3. Open a DOS window to uninstall the software. To display a DOS window type cmd in the Start -> Run command. In DOS windows run command: msiexec /X "c:\Documents and Settings\wilbur\My Documents\Setup.msi"
