I am attempting to publish a map service for a third party mapping application. The third party software is based on the Flex View 1.3 (ancient I know!). It seems as though the map services are required to be in WGS84, NOT Web Mercator. When attempting to publish a service in WGS. I get a warning that my service will be published in Web Mercator. Is this something new in ArcGIS 10.2? Or has it always set map services in Web Mercator? Anyone know how to fix this?
