Next week, our Qt experts here on the ArcGIS Runtime team at Esri @LucasDanzinger  (Product Engineering Lead) and @JamesBallard1  (Development Lead) will be presenting at the Qt World Summit 2022 virtual conference on the 9th November!

This is the biggest diary event in the year for all things Qt related, and is the virtual place to go to hear the latest news on Qt technology, software tools and features. There are also ample opportunities to learn from other Qt users around the world.

Lucas and James will be sharing their experiences (wins, challenges and all) using the Qt Test Framework to build and run the tens of thousands of tests that act as the health check for the ArcGIS Runtime for Qt SDK.  They’ll be sharing many of their tips and tricks for reporting test results in a consistent manner, how they identify flakey tests, and how they ensure regressions are caught immediately.

This is a unique opportunity to gain a behind the scenes insight into how the ArcGIS Runtime for Qt API development team handle their tests, and how they use best practice test workflows when creating tools for Qt developers to build powerful geospatial applications.

Registration for the Qt World Summit 2022 is free, and you can sign up here. Lucas and James are on at 12:30pm to 12:45pm CET, and will be available on live chat during their talk to answer any questions.

If you can’t make it along live, don’t worry, a recording will be available after the conference. We’ll post back here on the Esri Community forums when that is available.

If you’re interested in hearing more about the work of our developers within the ArcGIS Developer APIs technologies, as well as the Esri Community forums you can also follow us on Twitter @ArcGISDevs.
