ArcGIS Pro 3.2:
Scenario:
I've opened a geoprocessing tool from the Catalog context menu: Right-click a mobile geodatabase —> New —> View. I fill in the parameters and run the tool. The database view has been created.
Now, after reviewing the database view, I have determined I want to do a second geoprocessing operation: Register with Geodatabase.
When I go to the Geoprocessing Pane, the Create Database View tool is still open, which I suppose is expected. I want to search for the Register with Geodatabase tool, so I hit the Back button. However, hitting Back opens the Catalog Pane, whereas I was expecting it to bring me back to the home GP search screen in the GP Pane.
I think I understand why it's behaving that way. The Create Database View tool was originally opened via right-clicking in the Catalog Pane. So, the previous pane is technically the Catalog Pane, not the GP Pane. However, some time has passed since that action was performed, and I don't want to go back to the Catalog Pane (I've forgotten I was ever there). And I don't need "help" getting back there. I simply want to go back to the GP Pane home screen so that I can use a different GP tool.
In other words, I find it fiddly to hit Back in the GP Pane, but be led elsewhere.
Could that behaviour be changed?
