Are we able to view PDF files within ArcGIS Pro Catalog Pane or View ?

If yes, then how ?

No.  It only lists files you can open/use.

You can convert PDFs to TIFF files as a workaround using the PDF To TIFF GP tool.

or just use Windows File Explorer to open them, and save a conversion if your intent is to preview files.

What I am trying to say here is in ArcCatalog and you can add a pdf file there and then when you double click on a file it opens for you ... So I guess it would be nice if you have it in ArcGIS Catalog Pane or View to click on that file and display it....

Currently, this is not supported in the Catalog View in ArcGIS Pro.  On the Supported data types and items -> Files supported as inputs or outputs, it does mention PDF as available on the browse dialog boxes but are not available in the Catalog Pane or Catalog View.  There is a ArcGIS Idea here you can upvote to get more views/traction with the development team.
