Hi again Steven,
Thank you for your reply yesterday. I was a bit confused, so I'm attaching a Word file with some screenshots of my map(s), and comments/questions. I wonder if you can explain to me what exactly you meant by 'map editor' after seeing what I'm working on. Please let me know if my questions make sense, and if you can direct me further.
Thank you very much. I really appreciate your help!
Suzanne

Re: Map Home location?
reply from Stephen Sylvia in Story Maps - View the full discussionWhen using Map Series, the home location is set by the initial extent of the webmap (the extent that was saved from the ArcGIS Online map editor. If you panned your map and saved again in the editor, the Map Series app would use that extent as the home extent. Another possibility if you are using multiple maps, you may have checked the "synchronize map locations" option, in which case, the home extent uses the extent of the first map for all the maps.
