Geometry in GML does not show valid type in ArcMap

Hi

I was trying to transform GML data to File Geodatabase. The GML contains point geometry. But when I put the GML in ArcMap layer it shows type "Multipoint" and also when transforming it into Geodatabase, same result in there.

Then I created a simple point feature class and convert it back to GML using Quick Export(Data Interop Ext), there the GML also shows the type "Multipoint". Can someone help me where I did wrong to get it as point feature in GDB ?

Hello Naym

GML (and WFS) "points" are handled as multipoint.  Please use the geoprocessing tool "Multipart to Singlepart" to convert GML multipoint to Point data.
