An Atlas is a type of an ArcGIS Instant App – and really easy to create if you already have an ArcGIS Group that contains the maps or data you want to appear in the Atlas. In this blog I show three ways to manually embed your atlas or atlas content into a storymap.

ArcGIS Online public accounts are great – for teachers.  Most importantly, they can be quickly created and logged into with one of your existing social profiles like Google, Apple, or Facebook.

February 2024 update of ArcGIS Online brings lots of exciting new Features.  To assist you in getting up to speed with the new features, here are the key highlights from this update:

A familiar workflow is to access apps through the ArcGIS Online app launcher (opened via the Apps button - aka the waffle icon). Org admins can add other apps, websites, and documents into the app launcher. They don’t have to be Esri ones. And you can even control which apps appear for which users. All this in 3 steps!

Slides and recordings from a recent hands-on workshop that I co-taught with my colleague for a university community of practitioners have been published.  The workshop was coordinated by a university librarian and its focus was to give skills and confidence to those instructors and researchers who had been using ArcMap for many years, and were now embarking on their own pathway using ArcGIS Pro.
