Esri Maps for Office & ArcGIS Portal - allow guest / anonymous user

Is it possible to allow anonymous / guest access to ArcGIS Portal Content via Esri Maps for Office?

If you enable anonymous access to your ArcGIS Portal, subsequently go to use Esri Maps for Office (use your ArcGIS Portal URL) you are still prompted for a name user login.

- ArcGIS Portal has a Web Adaptor configured.
- Esri Maps for Office 2.1.1

Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

Hi - thanks for your question. Maps for Office does not support anonymous access. What is the use case you are looking to support? Just wondering how you'd use it because I'm interested in taking your requirements back to the team for consideration.
