We have a portal admin who left our organization. We were able to transfer most of his content to another user in our portal. However 3 items remain preventing us from deleting his account. Those three objects have an unknown type and when we click on them to view details, a new window opens but it just spins and spins without ever loading the item. If we try to delete them, we get "The following items can't be deleted because they are delete protected or have dependent items." Anyone know how to delete these items or what to check? Running 11.1.

Is there a way to get historical daily view counts for portal items? Like if I wanted to know how many times Web Map X was viewed each day in the month of October, how would I go about getting that info? We don't have ArcGIS Monitor. I tried doing this via python but it only gives me the total views the item has currently. The portal's Status dashboard is only showing content that is changed or created for that date range, not simply viewed. Thanks

Hi, We have a user who has created a map using the ArcGIS visualization in PBI. It displays correctly from the PBI desktop app and the PBI service. He has embedded the PBI report into a SharePoint Online site and it was working fine until last week. Now it is giving him a message that the visualization doesn't meet the requirements. It still works fine in the PBI service just not SharePoint. As far as we know,

Is there a way to change where the ArcGIS for PBI login points? Currently, once you select AGOL or Enterprise, you can't switch it. I often have users who create maps using AGOL option, only to realize later that they meant to use Enterprise. Our current recommendation is to delete the visualization and recreate with the other login type. There has to be a better way to do this.

It would be great if we could use Arcade or some other language to customize tooltips, filters, symbology, and other items similar to how you can in ESRI products. Right now everything is very inflexible and having some customization options would be great.

Thanks, Have you tested this with publishing to a Power BI Gateway? I know that the address locations cannot be published, only Lat/Longs. This is a main requirement for our users.

Currently, PBI doesn't support polygon joins. What we end up doing is publishing the layer with the symbology to portal then adding it to PBI as a reference layer. The problem with this solution is that it disconnects it from your PBI data and other visualizations.

I would like to have the ability to turn on a legend and snap it to a side and/or corner. Most of the time we are using only 1-2 reference layers since PBI can't handle polygons at this time. These are normally gradient color symbols. Our leadership wants to be able to see the values when the map is loaded. Our current workaround is to take a screenshot of the legend then add it next to the visualization. If we add it on top then the data can get covered up. In addition, since this is a static screenshot the problem becomes if the symbology (mainly the break points) change, someone has to remember to take a new screenshot.

I believe the Visualization supports only 1 layer from PBI data at a time. The other layer will need to be published to Portal or AGOL and added as a reference layer.

Currently in PBI, we can symbolize points based on color and size. It would be great to add shape as an option. This would allow for 2 different text based attributes to be symbolized at once (ex Attribute A for Color, and Attribute B for shape). For example, a map of employees by team where the team assignment is the color and the team leader is a different shape than the rest of the members.

I agree with this. One our use cases is for our administrative boundary polygons. We have them stored in our Portal as a feature service. Since Power BI doesn't support geometry data types, we would like to bring them as a reference layer in Power BI and the join the non-spatial data Power BI data to it. This way we could symbolize the polygons based off data used in the rest of the reports. If cross filtering was enable too, it would be awesome.

That is what I ended up doing. I also had to format the date some to make it work with the definition expression.

Hi, Is there a way to remove sections from a timeslider bar? I know you can make it compact but it still have the same parts just tighter and taller which makes it eat up too much space in my app. I would like to remove the items with red Xs in the images below.

I have map that has both a Timeslider and FeatureTable widgets. However, the time filter from the timeslider is not being applied to the featuretable. Therefore even though features are not shown the map because they are outside the time extent, they are being shown in the feature table. I wasn't able to find a property to set in the feature table to filter the time like there is for filterGeometry. Does anyone know how to make the feature table filter the time extent from the timeslider? Thanks,
