Our organization has had issues where the number of instances running are less than the minimum set. For example we set the Max to 6 and Min to 6 but on 3 are running (that is another issue we are working on). Is there are notification in ArcGIS Monitor to send us an email when this happens? Under the Statistics on the ArcGIS Admin Directory we can see the Max, Busy and Free instances which would give us the information. Wanted to know if this was possible in Monitor.

Not sure if you ever figure this out, but we found that we had to publish the Vector Map to AGOL with all the different varieties of fonts we wanted to use. So our Vector Tile has about 30 different fonts available. If you only exported/shared the map with the fonts you listed, that is all you will to style your map.

Did you ever find a solution to this issue? I am trying to do the exact same thing and the 'stopped' rules is gone after I click save. Also, not sure why we have to type the value into the value box when it should be populated. Thanks

Hi - I am trying to create a simple (I think) custom notification in ArcGIS Monitor. I want to be notified when a Service Status is 'stopped'. I have tried several variations but this field (and others) do not populate. When I try to enter a value manually, it disappears when I click save. Some of the drop downs do work - like selection the Internal Address. See my attached image for details. We are using ArcGIS Monitor 2023.2.0 and ArcGIS Server 10.9.1 Am I missing something or can you only get notifications based on the few Metrics. Was hoping to find 'out of the box' functionality to let me know via email when a service is stopped. Thank you!

As we migrate from ArcMap to ArcGIS Pro, we are inquiring about using the the same custom desktop shortcuts we use for ArcMap. Currently, for ArcMap we have Concurrent Use Licenses (all stored on the same license server) and we have created shortcuts for users. These shortcuts are .bat files. They have the option to launch ArcMap with Advance, Standard or Basic License. Example of a .bat file: set ESRI_SOFTWARE_CLASS=Editor set path=%path%;C:\Program Files (x86)\ArcGIS\Desktop10.6\bin ArcMap.exe Does anyone know if this will work for ArcGIS Pro as well? The Concurrent Use License set up for pro will be the same as ArcMap. Thank you

Anyone else having issues with labeling in ArcGIS Pro 2.3.2? Our Vector Tile Cache basemap was created in 2.3 and we had no issues with labeling. After the patch to 2.3.2, ArcGIS pro takes a significant amount of time to load labels (4-5 minutes). We noticed that the time increased as you zoomed into smaller scales. This happens for labels on all layers from a single polygon to 1000s of linear features. Turning other layers on/off and setting labeling to Draft Quality makes no difference. We also tried turning off Maplex, but no change. We opened 2.2 and 2.3 versions of the map on other machines and the labeling worked fine. Our solution was to group all the layers together, export it as a Layer file (.lryx) and bring it in to a new ArcGIS Pro Project. However, we do not want to do this for all our Projects.

Hi Linda, I am not sure if Esri has any updates but we still have several datasets that have download issues. Our best solution so far has been to host the data as a static File GeoDatabase and then provide a link for users to download the entire data set. We create a model to run the process automatically and it has worked pretty well so far. Still, I wish this issue would be addressed. It would be nice to just put our data on our server and let Open Data take care of the rest with out any problems.

Hi Beth, Esri's thought was that there were too many vertices. They recommend 3 solutions. 1) Generalize the Lines to reduce the number of vertices. 2) Host directly on AGOL and 3) Split up the data into smaller areas. We have decided to upload data to AGOL as a temporary fix (even though it is a large dataset and will consume credits). We are currently working on splitting up the data and creating multiple feature services. In the future, i am hoping AGOL?Open Data will be able to handle large datasets since our organization has several layers we share that have over 500K records.

We have tried both HTTP and HTTPS with no success. Still get error messages and users are unable to download. Moved some data to AGOL as a temporary fix, but unfortunately, most of our data sets are too large or users need live data.

We still have no solution for this issue. About 1/3 of our services will not work. Some I have been able to host on AGOL but our larger datasets are still have errors.

We have updated to version 2.0 of Open Data (now Hub). Our site mostly uses this Service to populate our Open Data data-sets: GISSUP/GISSUP (MapServer) Some of the Services work and the user is able to download. For Example, this layer works fine: Layer: RMSSEG (ID: 10) but then another Layer does not: Layer: RMSTRAFFIC (ID: 11) The Map Preview on our Open Data page has a error message in the upper left: "An error occurred fetching map data" and when we attempt to download we get "Status: An error occurred. Download failed." Both data-sets are from the same database. I have tried resetting the service, Updating Index, and Reset Dataset and Downloads on ArcGIS Hub admin pages.

In the original Open Data site, i could create a drop down using Select/Option with Java Script, HTML, and CSS. This would allow a user to select options from two drop down menus in order to download a specific file. Is there are way to still use JS/CSS or can this be done with Markdown?

when adding a layer to Open Data, the thumbnails are defaulted to the placeholder image(see attached image). When i added this layer in AGOL, I assigned an image, i want to see this image when the user searches for data in Open Data. Am I missing a Step. Layer with image can be seen here.
