Hello,

I've installed portal for ArcGIS 10.4.1 on a new server, with web adaptor and CA certificate.

While I'm trying to add a group, I get this message "unable to create the group at this time".

Any ideas?

Thanks

Ofra

Jennie:

Have you tried it with IE?

Same result?

Perhaps check the permissions of the arcgisportal folder?

Jennie, this problem was finally resolved for me as follows. Make sure to install the patch on the machine where Portal is, in our case the server machine. I then got a successful patch install, but still could not create groups until several days later, so I'm guessing after the patch install, you should close and open chrome as well as reboot your own computer?

Hi David.  It worked for me in IE. Thank you so much!

Glad to hear it worked.

That sounds like the 10.4.1 Patch didn't install correctly or you need to reboot the server.

Apply the patch and then reboot the server.

I think the patch directions might say just stop and restart the ArcGIS Server service.  I don't remember.

I prefer to reboot the server for a clean restart on anything like a patch, install, uninstall, repair, etc....

Hello Jayanta. Yes, it worked with IE after installing a patch.

(Solved) - Installed a new patch ArcGIS-1041-PFA-SEC2017U1-Patch-linux.tar

Hi guys

I installed  Portal for ArcGIS Home Application Upload Patch for linux today, my Portal stopped to work after that.

It was created a extra folder called linux.portal at Portal installation Folder.

I run portaldiag to check the requirements and now I got a Warning Diag_26
