I have not been able to successfully use this tool since upgrading to 10.2.2. Just another problem in the LONG list of ESRI issues. I never ceases to amaze me how a worldwide company can put out a product that simply doesn't work. ESRI Premium Support < GIS Stack Exchange

Does feature access need to be enabled to make the tool work?? I can't imagine so. Never had luck with this tool.

I've never had luck with this tool. Seems like ESRI abandoned the Silverlight viewer and its functionality.

This is almost the exact same thing I'm experiencing! It seems like element binding in a nested TabControl is limited in some way??

Mitchell, after your create your dual range address locator, make sure to right click your locator in ArcCatalog ->Properties -> Geocoding options There set "Match without house number" to "Yes" and set "Match with no zones" to "Yes". Now open a fresh MXD, if you have that locator already in use, remove it and then re-add it. If it is not in your list of locators just add it and use it. Now you should be able to find intersections. Tim Spot on Tim, thanks for the help. These changes allowed me to successfully create an Intersection locator using street centerline data.

Is this even possible? I've been reading the forums for several days now and no one has an answer. I want to create an intersection locator based on street centerline data. Thought using the Dual Range style would be best because my centerline data included all the necessary fields but no go. Also have intersection point data that included individual street names. The only way that I've read (so far) to make this work is to concatenate the street name field at each intersection for each point so that your table data will read "50TH & FRANCE", and then would need another point at the same location with attribute reading "FRANCE & 50TH". So for a 4 way intersection you would need 2 points in order to locate the intersection properly. Obviously I'm not going to do that as it would take me 6 months. ARE THERE ANY ANSWERS OUT THERE? I FEEL LIKE THIS SHOULD NOT BE SO DAMN COMPLICATED!

So you need to concatenate streets for every intersection point?? I've got centerline data and intersection data (with street name) but there doesn't seem to be any way to create an intersection locator? Been searching the forums for 3 days now and nothing, lots of people having this same problem with no answers.

I'm using a proxy page and the damn viewer still prompts me for credentials. Then if you click cancel the entire app crashes. I have steamy piles that have more functionality than the SL viewer.

The layer in which you want to display the related records for needs to be a feature layer and thus added into the viewer individually. In any case, it doesn't work. I'm using a proxy in order to display related records and the tool simply doesn't work. The configure button is greyed out if i try to configure it, if I display a popup and "Get related records" it prompts me for a login, even though I'm using a damn proxy and there is no need for credentials. My company has produced roughly 30 silverlight viewer apps for our users and no one is using them.

I customized the Search tool to run off my custom locator service. However when using the search function in Silverlight viewer I am still having the above issue. "Searching...Cancel" In addition, I accidentally pressed the "Add" button to add a Push-Pin to the address I searched and cannot figure out how to delete it, now the push-pin shows up in all my public webapps. Am using the most recent update of Silverlight viewer.

Do they exist? Essentially I'm simply trying to delineate a city watershed but have found a significant lack of documentation with ArcHydro (ie not much supporting info in either: ComprehensiveTerrain preprocessing using Arc Hydro tools or ArcHydro- GIS for Water Resources). Feel like I'm in the dark with this extension, don't know if I'm getting correct raster sets, lots of error messages, etc). Additionally the AquaVeo AHGW tutorials really doesn't do much for me either. This tutorial [http://www.bae.uky.edu/tdowdy/BAE538/Readings/ArcHydroTools_Tutorial.pdf] is OK but outdated and doesn't reflect correct order for newest ArcHydro release, moreover it I'm getting different results as the examples provided. Hydrology Toolset in ArcToolbox offers conflicting workflow. The Hydrologic analysis sample applications offered on the ArcGIS 10 Help isn't much at all. It says that you can use the tools in sequential order, but then most tools require another tool that precedes it, and then there is a significant lack of documentation regarding the necessary Input rasters and data fields with no explanation as to where they come from our what they should represent. I feel like this should be a very simple thing to accomplish, but as with my experiences with ESRI products, not much ever works out like it should.

Hello, I'm having a difficult time obtaining data. I'm looking for geologic data for North Dakota. Does anyone have recommendations for obtaining borehole log data? Additionally, I'm looking for updated Arc Hydro tutorials (other then the AquaVeo website as its proven not to be much help) Thanks!
