Thank you Robert. I realize Flexviewer is on it's way out. I should have mentioned the orthos are displayed with the Basemap widget. I was originally given an XML file to change the contrast and brightness of the imagery ...(<XmlRasterFunctionTemplate xsi:type='typens:RasterFunctionTemplate' xmlns:xsi='http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance' xmlns:xs='http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema' xmlns:typens='http://www.esri.com/schemas/ArcGIS/10.1'><Name>Contrast40Brightness15</Name><Description>A raster function template.</Description><Function xsi:type='typens:ContrastBrightnessFunction'><Name>Contrast And Brightness Function</Name><Description>Adjusts the raster contrast and brightness.</Description><PixelType>UNKNOWN</PixelType></Function><Arguments xsi:type='typens:ContrastBrightnessFunctionArguments'><Names xsi:type='typens:ArrayOfString'><String>Raster</String><String>ContrastOffset</String><String>BrightnessOffset</String></Names><Values xsi:type='typens:ArrayOfAnyType'><AnyType xsi:type='typens:RasterFunctionVariable'><Name>Raster</Name><Description></Description><Value></Value><IsDataset>true</IsDataset></AnyType><AnyType xsi:type='typens:RasterFunctionVariable'><Name>ContrastOffset_2013130_122255_347</Name><Description></Description><Value xsi:type='xs:double'>40</Value><IsDataset>false</IsDataset></AnyType><AnyType xsi:type='typens:RasterFunctionVariable'><Name>BrightnessOffset_2013130_122255_347</Name><Description></Description><Value xsi:type='xs:double'>15</Value><IsDataset>false</IsDataset></AnyType></Values></Arguments><Help></Help></XmlRasterFunctionTemplate>). I thought similar code might exists for changing the symbology or for modifying the code for the basemap in the config.xml?

The ortho imagery has 4 bands: RGB and IR. The default symbology is RGB but I'd like to symbolize it in flexviewer to display the IR band using the red channel.

Excellent Robert! When I specify the property layer in the widget it returns the results specified using any of the selection methods. Thank you, Andrew

Hi Robert, That code worked. When I use to Identify widget it returns all information for operational and basemap layers. If I set <excludebasemaps> to true nothing gets returned and if I add my layer information I get an error. <layer> <name>Property</name> <id>8</id> <url>http://198.167.37.68/arcgis/rest/services/BaseData/MapServer</url> <fields> <field name="PID" alias="PID"/> <field name="FIRSTNAME" alias="FIRSTNAME"/> <field name="LASTNAME" alias="LASTNAME"/> <field name="PROPLOC" alias="PROPLOC"/> </fields> <links> <link includeinresults="false" field="" alias="" tooltip=""> <linkprefix></linkprefix> <linksuffix></linksuffix> <iconfield></iconfield> <iconprefix></iconprefix> <iconsuffix></iconsuffix> </link> </links> <zoomscale>15000</zoomscale> <forcescale>true</forcescale> </layer>

Hi Robert, I'm still unable to get any results from the Identify widget. So I'm using ArcGIS Server 10.1 SP1, Application Builder 3.1 and have installed your 3.1.4 version of the widget using Manage Custom Widgets. I have attached the XML code for both the Config file and the Widget. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Andrew

Thanks Robert, I've been reconfiguring my website to include both feature server and mapserver (dynamic) layers with no results on the Identify tool. I will now install your latest version of the tool and see what happens. Thanks, Andrew

I thought it might be a Feature vs Map Service issue but I couldn't find any documentation. I'll try with a Map Service. Thank you for your help Robert.

I have built a site using App Builder 3.1; added the Identify Widget from the Advanced settings but still get the same results. Code for my layer below... <layers onlythese="false"> <layer> <name>Property</name> <url>http://198.167.37.68/arcgis/rest/services/BaseData/FeatureServer/6</url> <fields all="true"> </fields> <links> <link includeinresults="false" field="" alias="" tooltip=""> <linkprefix></linkprefix> <linksuffix></linksuffix> <iconfield></iconfield> <iconprefix></iconprefix> <iconsuffix></iconsuffix> </link> </links> <zoomscale>15000</zoomscale> <forcescale>true</forcescale> </layer>

Manuel, The fact that you have flexviewers in your path leads me to believe that you are using or have used Application Builder... Is that the case? If so then there is a much easier way for you to add the identify widget to your app. I'm having a similar problem trying to get the Identify widget up and running. Nothing gets returned. What is the easier way to add the Identify widget? Thanks, Andrew
