I ran into this error today, also on a feature class that participates in a geometric network. You should still be able to add Global IDs to the entire dataset through the ArcCatalog dataset context menu. Of course, this will add Global IDs to every feature class, but you should be able to delete the field from feature classes where you don't actually need it. For me, this was a better option than unregistering as versioned.

Nothing jumps out at me except that my locator has many more candidate fields. It is a composite locator, not sure if that makes a difference.

Thanks Michael, my geocoder and basemap gallery are working now. Unfortunately, and this may only be affecting me, the geocoder exhibits some odd behavior when offering suggestions with my custom locator. On the first use after each page refresh, the suggestion dropdown list requires a double-click to select an address. After the first use, it requires a single click. A small issue, but since the address bar is the primary way for users to interact with this particular app, I think it might be confusing since it appears to be a single click menu. I wonder if someone could confirm this behavior?

Yes I did, I changed it to a single symbol. Changing it back to unique values based on the subtype field fixed it. Thank you!

Same problem, Type ID Field in the Feature Services is blank but populated in the Map Service. This makes the subtype field useless for an editing scenario. I'm using Desktop and Server 10.3. Gary, all fields are visible in the mxd and in my Portal map and the mxd only contains this one single subtyped feature class.

I've worked on this all morning and unfortunately haven't accomplished a thing. The helper services in the default.js and the commonConfig.js don't seem to do anything at all in this template. The config settings have to be changed in the templateOptions.js file instead. But, when setting queryForOrg: false in templateOptions, the app ignores your organization completely, meaning no basemap gallery, just an error that it can't find any basemaps. I can't imagine that this is the intended behavior for this setting considering there is no explicit place in the helper services to setup a different basemap gallery, and also because this is not the behavior of other apps, like the basic viewer. The basic viewer app allows the queryForOrg setting to be false in the commonConfig.js file so that it will make use of the custom helper services but still retrieves basemap information from your organization. Also, I was unable to get Michael Miller's suggestion working. No matter how many places I explicitly set the locator to my url, it ultimately uses the default Esri world geocoding service.

I encountered this same issue today. I've created an improvement request on the ideas website here: https://c.na9.visual.force.com/apex/ideaView?id=087E0000000CwOL&returnUrl=%2Fapex%2FideaList%3Fc%3D09a300000004xET%26sort%3Drecent. Please upvote if you'd like to see this functionality added in Dashboard.

Currently, if a numeric field has a coded domain, it cannot be used as input to certain widgets that rely on numeric fields, like gauge or bar chart. This is unfortunate since coded domains are a primary method of ensuring integrity in the geodatabase. In this case, following good design standards for the database prevents full functionality in Operations Dashboard, and that just doesn't seem like a good thing. I would like to see, if possible, a modification that gives the option of using either the code or the description in widgets.

Thank you Frank, that solved my issue. Also note that this same problem is present in the new Explorer app for Android and the same work around fixed that as well.

I'm having a similar issue with both Collector for ArcGIS and the new Explorer for ArcGIS on Android. If I use the 'domain/user' format, the map loads and the secure services are simply unavailable (layer is grayed out). If I use the 'user@domain' format, the map loads and the secure services look they're trying to work, but never finish loading. When looking at the contents screen, the secure services loading icon just keeps spinning and spinning forever. All my secure services work fine in Portal, and used to work fine in Collector as well, not sure what changed.

Sort of. I couldn't find an easy way of solving the problem through the Government Services app. Instead, we created a query layer on the zoning feature class. In the query layer is an additional in memory field that uses a CASE statement to assign the proper zoning code to its respective subtype code.

I have a city zoning service in the My Government Services 10.2 app that returns the zone for the selected location, just like any other polygon service would work in this app. The problem I'm running into is that the information I want to show up in the carousel at the bottom is in a subtype field, and the application gives me the subtype code rather than the description. Is there anyway to modify it to use the description? I have a similar issue with a coded domain, as well.

I wish I had a solution to offer but I'm running into the exact same problem here. I have an administrator role in AGS but I can't even create a folder in mobile content server without getting kicked back to the login screen, where it will no longer accept my credentials. Using the primary site account, I can accomplish anything, but no other account has administrative access. Of course, this also prevents using Mobile Project Center to share projects without the use of the primary site account.
