I have a series of flex maps that use feature services stored on my ArcGIS Online account. All of my maps had been working perfectly fine, but beginning on Wednesday (two days ago), I started getting errors when loading the maps. The feature services or web maps will not display in the view or in the layers/legend widget. Also, the Search Widget brings up the following error: FeatureLayer628 layer failed to load: Fault info: Unable to get token service url from (http://services1.arcgis.com/(myacount)/arcgis/rest/info) Version 10.01+ required Given that I have not changed my feature services or flex maps AT ALL in the last several days, and all my various (unrelated) flex maps all stopped working at the same time, it seems like something is wrong on Esri's side of things. The outage seems intermittent...sometimes the maps work perfectly, but they seem down more often than not. Has anyone else experienced this, or know anything about it?

I currently have an web application that uses ArcGIS Viewer for Flex v.3.1. Content of the web map consists of ArcGIS Online feature services from our organizational account. Everything was working fine, until now today I get a popup for "MapManager" immediately after I log in to the site. I get the pop-up in both Application Builder and in the live map. The pop-up does not list any errors...just a blank box with "MapManager" as the title, and no contents. I can close the box, and the web map functions get fine, but it is annoying. Has anyone else seen this or know how to get rid of it? It's a little baffling because this just seemed to spontaneously come up today. Please see attachment for a screenshot.

Hi Mike, I do have a support ticket going with Esri for this, as of today. Thought it might be useful to see if any of my peers have had the some issue as well! 🙂

My ArcGISOnline account is currently chewing up 5 credits/day for feature storage. I'm pretty sure that I do not have any feature services that should be using that much (largest current feature service is 8mb). ArcGIS.com is reporting that I have 280mb stored. In the stats page, I can see how many credits my whole organization is using per day for all combined feature services...is there a convenient way to break that out by feature service? I know I can click on each individual feature service and see usage, but not of them are using that many credits. Is think the problem really may be that I tried loading a very large feature service (parcel dataset), then saw how it was chewing up credits, so then I deleted it. However, I had a lot of issues deleting it, and it took me a few tries before I could get it off. I think it's possible that the service is still on there somewhere, invisible and in the background, but still eating up credits. Has anyone had a similar issue??

I just started noticing this very same issue for v.10 sp2. I'm sad that everyone else is having to deal with it, but kind of glad that I haven't gone crazy, that this is a known bug. I'll try some of the workarounds. I get it for both v.9.3 and v.10 gdb annotation.

Thanks, but I don't currently have the software to compile this version. Is there a compiled version out there anywhere? I haven't seen a compiled version for this newer widget (which is for Flex Viewer 2.1). However, ArcScripts has a widget that works with the older Flex Viewer. I was able to hack around with it, and get it to work, and I'm no developer, so I don't think it was too hard, and certainly didn't need to be compiled. The only problem is that since it's for the older viewer, it may not work with the 2.1 viewer. http://arcscripts.esri.com/details.asp?dbid=16070

Are you looking for something like this? Yes. @aniket: thanks. Just knowing that there's not already a widget for this gives a starting point.

Does it have to be in an Edit widget? It would be nice if you could view the attachments in a standard identify window, so users can view but not edit the attachments. Yes, I think this is what I was getting at. I just want to be able to click on a feature, ideally with the Identify widget, and return all of the attributes, plus the attachments. This would basically mimic ArcMap identify functionality.

Just wondering if the new Attachments feature can be consumed in the Flexviewer? I see that it is accessible from REST, so it's possible, right? Are there any existing widget out there that expose Attachments yet? http://help.arcgis.com/EN/arcgisserver/10.0/apis/rest/index.html

Robert - thanks for this widget; it's a great tool! I like how easy it is to set up a single link field, but it is possible to set up multiple link fields? We want some of our data to hyperlink to several different documents and other multimedia, so being able to have two or more link fields would be wonderful. I apologize if I've missed something obvious, and thanks again for all your time!

I'm starting to fool around with ArcPy, and eventually want/need to migrate over our automated map atlases from VBA to ArcPy. One of my "old" functions that I need to carry over is to dynamically change the Page Size. This involves changing the data frame size and also the Page/Print size (File-->Page and Print Setup). I've found it quite easy to access the data frame properties via ArcPy, but cannot see how to change the Map Page Size using ArcPy. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Andriy, thanks for taking the time to reply, and for the explanation. I've found that AGX honors almost all layer properties authored in ArcMap within a layer package (ie - symbol, label, field visibility, field alias, scale thresholds, etc), so I assumed it would honor the primary display field too. I think it would be a great feature for a future version!:)
